Ben is currently accepting private students in the greater Los Angeles area.  An avid instructor, Ben has been working with students of all ages for over ten years and is a 1st year graduate student in The Thornton School of Music at USC. As a teaching staff member, Ben has experience in all types of percussion and piano instruction. Ben has worked with organizations such as The Jazz Institute of Chicago, DePaul University, and The University of North Texas to bring music into the lives of students both young and old. Programs of his have also won awards from NAMM, Vandercook College and The Office of Illinois Governer Pat Quinn.

Private lesson locations include rehearsal space in Highland Park and on USC campus. Students age 7 and older are invited to study drum set and percussion as well as beginner piano. Depending on the student's individual level, lessons will focus on technique, style, sight-reading and practice routines.
